[vacancy] Urgent Vacancy: Civil, Infrastructure, & Logistics Coordinator in GMR Group

Due the development and especially acquiring coal mining (CCOW) in Indonesia, We are now seeking outstanding talent as the following position:

 

Civil, Infrastructure, & Logistics Coordinator

 

Main Role

Responsible in infrastructure project development planning, analysis, sustainability mechanics, counterparting/ grant matching designs in the mining project in order to contribute to the achievement of the infrastructure targets and the company goals with a safe & efficient operation within the project.

 

Role of Accountabilities

·         Prepare technical plans and designs, program of works of all identified infrastructure needs of the mine impact community.

·         Providing input and direction to the contractor in the design, layout, fabrication, assembly, delivery, installation, test and pre-commissioning of civil, mechanical, electrical or instrumentation works for mining operations, process plant operation, utilities operation and infrastructure project (jetty, reclaim/conveyor system, stockpile, pipe rack foundation, housing/camp facilities, bridges, drainage, underpass, haul road design, bathymetry survey, environmental analysis/AMDAL, geotechnical analysis, and other engineering works)

·         Supervise welding inspection, hydrotest, pressure test, visual test, ultrasonography test, and other NDT (Non Destructive Test) for piping, pressure tanks, or steel structural works.

·         Provide assistance in the contracting activities in compliance with project design basis, Indonesian regulatory requirement and applicable codes and standards, including preparation of tender enquiry documents, preparation of responses to tenderers requests for technical clarifications, review and clarification of contract tender documents, assist project coordinator in the management of specific contract or purchase order.

·         Conduct FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) for equipments and construction material before its deliver to site, monitoring material & equipment delivery, manpower plan.

·         Represent the company on construction site, conduct field inspection during commissioning phase, prepare SOP (Standard Operational Procedure)

·         Construction drawing document control including drafting, cost estimating, reads and interprets specifications, material take-off, Liaise with relevant inter-discipline engineer, sub-contractor, consultant and users.

·         Sourcing, negotiating, evaluating consultant and subcontractors, manage all subcontractors to achieve high performance of safety and quality in accordance with sanctioned schedule, budget cost and deliver project on time.

·         Monitoring site construction progress, daily and weekly reports, project scheduling, and other duties as directed by logistics & infrastructure manager.

 

Role Cognitive

Able to exercise judgments requiring "Assertive" processing (such as require to be able to organize information and pulls it together in the form of direct action relevant to the immediate situation) for time-span of 3 months down the road.

 

Knowledge & Skill

·         5 years++ (with a minimum of five years of relevant experience in vertical and horizontal infrastructure in mining development)

·         Familiar with the HSE Standard (Government, OSHAHS 18000,OSHA, ISO 14001)

·         Able to manage tasks and prioritize time to support the company

·         High motivation to fulfilling requests to meet timelines supporting the work of others

·         Able to take initiative and to follow through on projects and tasks

Specific Required

1.       Minimum Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from a reputable university.

2.       Experience minimum 5 years handling vertical and horizontal infrastructure in mining development

3.    Willing to be located in Palembang, South Sumatera.

4.    Willing to work extended hours due to project requirements.

5.    Excellent English, both written and verbal

6.   Computer literate (Microsoft Office programs)
