Supervisor Mechanical Engineer with Rotating Equipment experience needed for Dumai based position. With a core focus with Onshore, Offshore projects, this client brings a vast knowledge of Engineering and construction services to the Oil & Gas industry. Providing a vast scope from design through to project execution to their clients, this company has a great reputation within the industry
As a supervisor level engineer you will be responsible for performing duties requiring application of sound and broad range of mature professional engineering knowledge. Looking for a highly experience professional to give informed guidance and technically accurate and feasible recommendations for rotating equipment at all stages of a project development. Additionally, liaise with Procurement in respect to Vendor assessment, the preparation of Bidder Lists, RFQs, TBEs, vendor document review, and final Vendor appraisal.
A successful candidate will have :
- Graduate or post graduate qualification in Mechanical engineering
- A detailed knowledge of all Australian and International Codes applicable to the design and selection of all rotating equipment packages.
Current experience of engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning best practices, in the following industries
- Oil Refining
- Chemical Complex
- Liquefied and Natural Gas Processing Plants
- Storage and loading facilities for each of the above
- Offshore Production Facilities
An understanding of the design of the following equipment / systems and the impact of Rotating Equipment design on other systems / disciplines
- Stationary Equipment
- Piping systems and materials of construction including design standards
- Packaged Equipment
- Supporting structures
