Currently we have 1 vacant position in our EHS department in the Jakarta office as an EHS Specialist.

 

The EHS Specialist shall be accountable for the following but not limited to:

 

·         Coaching and Mentoring of Hess employees to assure 1st quartile performance in particular GDC EHS Rig Specialists and Drilling Supervisors

·         Develop, implement & maintain all relevant EHS management processes for the GDC Department, including definition of relevant KPI's, quality and performance standards

·         Facilitating and monitoring development, maintenance and (re-) certification of EHS competence of GDC staff, particularly for EHS critical tasks and responsibilities

·         Leading and /or participating in investigation of complex and /or high potential incidents and serious accidents

·         Quality control, analysis and tracking of follow-up actions and close-out status of all departmental incident reports

·         Review and revision of EHS management systems, safety cases, Emergency Response Plans, bridging and interface documentation

·         Ensuring compliance to Legislations and Industry Standard Practices

·         Development and maintenance of departmental Emergency Response capabilities and readiness

 

Requirement:

 

v      Degree in any related disciplines from reputable institutions with minimum of 10 years experience in EHS

v      Excellent communication skills in English both spoken and written

v      Ability to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the EHS Documentation Bridging Documents, Emergency Response Plan, Oil Spill Response Plan, Environmental Plan etc.

v      Delivery-focus with an emphasis on task ownership and completion. Self-motivated person with an enthusiastic, methodical and diligent approach

v      Ability to multi-task and be flexible, potentially working many concurrent tasks through obstacles to a successful conclusion

v      A flexibility and willingness to over time in support of project activity where required

v      Team worker with excellent customer focus

v      Initiative, decisiveness and drive for results

Government Affairs Coordinator

 

Main Role

To assist the Corporate Relations Manager in Jakarta to ensure that all formalities and legalities required by the company which are processed in Jakarta are obtained in timely manner and in accordance to the company business conduct and support the image of the company as a good corporate citizen.

 

Role of Accountabilities

  • Approval of Annual Manpower Plan for Expatriates (RPTKA).
  • Various formalities; visa; expatriate related permits
  • Review, monitor and avoid whenever possible negative impacts of the new regulations to the company such as: RUU Minerba (Draft of Mining Law), PP PNBP (Government Regulations on Forest Dues), Judicial Review of Forestry Law: UU41/1999, Draft of Ministry of Environment on Mine Closure, RUU Sumberdaya Alam (Draft of Natural Resources Law), RUU Investasi (Draft of Investment Law), Review UU No. 13/2003 Ketenaga-kerjaan (Labour Law)

 

Role Cognitive

Able to exercise judgments requiring "Assertive" processing (such as require to be able to organize information and pulls it together in the form of direct action relevant to the immediate situation) for time-span of 3 months down the road.

 

Knowledge & Skill

       -          5 years++ (with a minimum of five years of relevant experience handling Government Affairs)

-          Able to manage tasks and prioritize time to support the company.

-          Capable to develop relationship based on professional relationship.

-          Able to work under pressure and in ambiguous condition effectively.

 

Competencies

-          English Language Level III (Fluent)

-          Environment, Health and Safety – Level III (Active)

-       Achievement Motivation – Level III

-      Initiative – Level IV (Anticipates)

Specific Required

           4.       Good Interpersonal & Communication skills.

           5.     Good Project Management
