1. 2nd Engineer (Code 2-E)
Nationality : Malaysian

a. The holder must have two (2) years experience in equivalent position.
b. 2nd Engineer Certificate of Competency (COC) in accordance with the STCW '95 requirements.
c. Proficient in written and spoken English with good oral and written communication skills.
d. Good communication and Interpersonal skills.
e. Carry out relevant Company requirements and where applicable, latest industry codes and standards including statutory rules and regulations.
f. Fluent in English both spoken and written.

Overview of position
- Sebelum diangkat sebagai pegawai permanen, kandidat yang
terpilih harus menyelesaikan program Field Development Training
(FDT). Program FDT ini ditujukan untuk membekali kandidat dengan
pengetahuan dan ketrampilan yang dibutuhkan untuk bekerja di
industri minyak dan gas. Program akan dilakukan melalui pelatihan
di kelas dan penugasan.

Qualification :
- Hanya diperuntukkan bagi penduduk lokal Riau yang
dibuktikan dengan memiliki KTP Riau.
- Terbuka bagi lulusan SMA/sederajat (IPA), SMK Teknik/STM
(Mesin, Elektro, Instrumentasi atau Kimia) tahun lulus 2009-2010.
- Terbuka bagi lulusan SMA/sederajat (IPA), SMK Teknik/STM
tahun lulus 2007-2008 yang berpengalaman kerja minimal 2 tahun di
industri minyak dan gas.
- Berusia minimal 18 tahun pada April 2011.
- Prioritas akan diberikan kepada 300 pelamar dengan nilai
rata-rata ujian nasional tertinggi (yang tercantum dalam SKHU –
Surat Keterangan Hasil Ujian) untuk mengikuti proses seleksi
selanjutnya.
- Bersedia ditempatkan di seluruh wilayah operasi Chevron.
